Meaning these berries are capable of growing a giant amount of fruit! 10 to 15 pounds of berries starts from June and runs to October, buy multiple for a whole bushel of harvest. • This southern staple fruit is not suitable for indoor growing. Other wild varieties of blackberry pale in comparison to this thornless gem! They begin their fruiting stage as a bright red, before transitioning to a dark purple / black shade once ripe. • The Prime-Ark Traveler Blackberry prefers full sun and will bear fruit after one to two years of growth, and prefers well drained soil. They can get up to 6 ft. in height at full maturity, and benefit from being grown on a trellis.
